PENDLETON BAT COMPANY, LLC is based in the Binghamton area of New York State’s Southern Tier. It was started in 2011 as a combination of passion, faith & dreams. Add in the love of the game, an engineering degree, a woodworking talent & finally a wood lathe & hours of perfecting.

PENDLETON BAT COMPANY is a business built on craftsmanship and the belief that a quality product starts with a good design and putting quality raw material through a sound, repeatable manufacturing process.

Our lumber is

Made from split stock, not sawn. When lumber is split, it follows the natural grain of the wood.
Vapor-Kiln dried between 6% and 8% moisture content.
Sorted and graded based on the individual characteristics of each piece of wood.

PENDLETON bats are handcrafted, hand-coated and hand-painted.

PENDLETON bats are marked by laser etching. With a PENDLETON bat, every character is clear, from the “PENDLETON” name to the “USA” in the address.

PENDLETON BAT COMPANY has expanded from local leagues to now include customers from New England to Florida.

Wood Types

Ash: Quality Ash wood. The traditional lumber used for baseball bats. Ash has the trampoline effect when making contact.

Pro-Ash: Finest quality Ash wood.

Birch: Hard wood that is gaining popularity. Denser than Ash and is now allowed in professional baseball.

Maple: Hardest of the three lumber choices. Most popular lumber used for bats today.

Personalization

Trophy bats are a nice way to recognize the end of a season, senior day, or awards. Player name, number, and "Class of 20xx" are very popular requests. School logos can also be added with the permission of the school.
