Season Update

We hope this message finds you and your family in good health and spirits. Over the past few weeks, the rapid spread of COVID-19 and its wide-ranging impacts have caused severe disruption across society and around the world. We are dedicated to keeping you informed about our efforts in response to this global challenge.

First, we want to let you know that we are having a successful registration period that has already filled 15 teams – by far, the most in the tri-county league. Online registration will remain open through April 30 so if you know anyone interested, please let them know there is still time.

The ETL board is actively planning for another successful season. Once registration is closed, coaches will get the green light to contact their players. When the County Executive approves sporting fields to reopen, we can begin an abbreviated Spring Training. Opening day is currently scheduled for June 1. While we are hoping for the best, we are also planning for contingencies.

We are monitoring the situation as it unfolds over the next couple weeks. If anything changes, we will let you know immediately and communicate the impacts at that time. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Stay safe, and hopefully soon, we will Play Ball!
